Sea's Call

~Feel free to call me Lita, but I also answer to Pom and Pomsky. Honestly though, you can scream "Hey You" and I'll probably look. XD My mun FC is a dual FC, Lita/Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter and Jaden/Judai Yuki, so any ooc posts will use those, and be tagged with both ooc AND 'Out Of Charm'.

~This is NOT my main blog, but a side blog. My main blog is at Fireballofinsanity, and is where you can find me at any given point in time.

~Because this is a side blog, if I don't get a reply out to you within a week, prod me. But please keep it to one poke every other day, at most - I'm not ignoring you, Tumblr just eats my messages and notifications.

~On the topic of following: I will not be following anyone from this blog, for the reason stated above (sideblog). If I follow you back, it'll be from my main, but for the sake of a neat dash I may not follow everyone back. This doesn't mean I don't want to rp with you; do feel free to reach out! Send me a meme or an ask or tag me in something! It's just for the sake of not overwhelming myself, which can be fairly easy to do with too much on my dash at once.

~I'll rp just about any genere, but know I'm horrible at writing fight scenes. Also please know the mun is awkward and has anxiety. I make it a point to read your rules before interaacting, but I am, as mentioned, an awkward duck and until I get to know you, I'll be incredibly shy and nervous and hide more than anything else. ~My muse is Multipship and Multiverse, but will always be heavily tied to Kiibx's Jaden Yuki and my own OC, Aoi, at getyouraoion. Eria's relationship with them has been part of their relationship for quite some time, and will continue to be. For further information, please read Eria's about section.

~I do somewhat practice mains. While I welcome doubles and will interact with all of them, I have a 'primary' person I turn to for most muses; this only means that should they come up in conversation, for example, 99 out of 100 times it's that specific one I/Makoto is speaking about. These mains are Cyberstyled,, Phoenixandthethunder, Pendulumrisen, Kiibx, Seamtorn, Shadowgoddessrin, and Dueltorn.

~To the above: I will only ship chemistry - Please do not force a ship on me if it's not just happening. As it is I will be incredibly picky with shipping on this blog, and it is never my first priority.

~Further, because of Eria's ties to Aoi, occasionally Aoi may cross over and feature in Eria's replies. Aoi is not a main muse on this blog and may only guest from time to time as a sort of NPC figure. Whenever this happens, the post will be tagged with "LINKED - Getyouraoion" to reference this. ~Eria also holds ties to another of my blogs - That of Jaden and Aoi's son, Amai Yuki. Just like with Aoi, Amai is by far NOT a main muse here, but may occasionally show up as an NPC in her replies. The tag for when this happens is "LINKED - Yukipup".

~As for dub vs sub names, I grew up with the dub and greatly prefer the dub names. They'll be what I default to, but if you prefer I use the sub names for your muses, please let me know. I'm more than willing to use them if you want me to - otherwise I'll be defaulting to the dub. I do ask you forgive me if I slip~

~I don't follow strict reblog karma. I understand sometimes the source no longer exists, so feel free to take memes if you want them. But please, please, remember I rebloggedd these for a reason - I am not a meme source. Please occasionally send one in to me if you're going to reblog - Not every time, no, but if you reblog multiple from me one every so often would be nice. I don't mean to be rude, I've just had too many people follow me on other blogs solely for the reason of reblogging memes from me, without any other interactions. If this happens too often, without any attempt at interaction aside from reblogging memes from me, I may block - Again, not being rude, but I'm here for more than just memes.

~I use a browser not supported by XKit. This means I am incapable of trimming threads on my end. I ask that you please bear with me, and if you have the ability to trim, to please do it in my stead- This is because I have a laptop with a ridiculously small HD and I don't have room to install a new browser that does support it.   Eria the Water Charmer isn't a powerful card, nor is it particularly useful to most duelists. But for Jaden Yuki and Aoi Sakazaki, she, as well as her other forms in Familiar-possesed Eria and Raging Eria, is a card with great meaning to them both.

  As Aoi's favorite and a monster she shares a tight bond with, Eria was gifted to Jaden for his 16th birthday. Though she had no say in who owned her, Eria took to her new owner imediately, the shy charmer finding him cute and easy to work with. And not being used much after didn't faze her; she was a link, a physical representation of the bond 'her humans' share. That was enough for her.

  All Eria hopes for is the chance to be useful to her new master, all while keeping an eye on him.

  Though Eria has little to do with the events going on in the other dimension, she's very much aware of them. She still hesitates to show herself to her master, but as a monster with a close bond to both him and someone he loves, she's too able to feel his despair. She attempts to guide and nudge him in the right direction without revealing herself, but how does she do that when everyone close to him is dying and everyone else wants to destroy him?

  With Jaden revealed to be the Gentle Darkness, Eria has finally chosen to reveal herself to him as a spirit. Her concern for him has doubled, and she wants nothing more than to protect him herself - not because of the reasons she was given to him, but because she, too, has found friendship in the teen and wants to see him smile.

  She's even choosing to change, herself, and work towards bettering herself and becoming more open and outspoken. With Jaden and his other companions with her, she's looking forward to a far brighter future!

  Though Eria, along with her fellow charmers, isn't the most powerful monster, she still features in Aoi Sakazaki's deck and sees plenty of time in the feild during her owner's training as a soldier for Duel Academy. As just a monster, she had little say in the other's lack of a smile, or the haunted look in her eyes, though both worried her to no end.

  When Aoi fled the academy, Eria and her deck went with her, leaving behind a friend. While the Water Charmer knows her master is hurting over the choice, they're both making new friends and finding a place to belong... Even if Eria can do without being the 'prank master' in Aoi's place. She doesn't appreciate being summoned just to soak friends, but what can she do?

  Thankfully, she's blissfully unaware at the moment of what the future holds for the boys she comes to call her friends...

• General Information

  Eria is a Duel Monster, specifically the water magician of the Charmer spellcaster archetype. She has two other forms in Familiar-Possessed Eria and Raging Eria, and is partnered with her familiar, Gigobyte, who evoles into Jigabyte with her possessed form. Not much is known about her family, as she won't speak of them, but it's clear she sees her fellow charmers and her owners as such.

  Eira was originally owned by Aoi Sakazaki, and featured in a deck alongside Aussa, Wynn, and Hiita. For her best friend's birthday, Aoi gifted Eria, her two advanced forms, and her Spirtual Art trap card to Jaden Yuki. Through her new owner, Eria finds a new purpose - Using her water magic to protect the Gentle Darkness and those he loves.

• Appearance

  Eria is a small, pale-skinned girl, standing no taller than 5'1". She has a rather thin, feminine form, though it's mostly covered by spellcaster's garb in a tan hooded jacket, a light green sleeveless and strapless baggy top, and a short black, pleated miniskirt. A wide belt crosses loosely over her stomach, with a large 'fan' of poofy light blue feathers hanging from it. Adorning her feet is a simple pair of black loafers, with a pair of baggy legwarmers covering the tops.

  Her hair is of a light blue shade, falling to just bellow her rear, with matching eyes. As a spellcaster, she carries a staff-like wand, light and medium blue in color and featuring several small blue leaves, as well as a large crystaline dewdrop settled on top, within the curl of 'vines'.

• Interests

  As a water mage, her interests lie in perfecting her magic and using it for the aid of her master - that is, whoever summons her. She loves nature, like her fellow charmers, and finds an interest in how water works, how it flows and runs, and how peaceful it is.

  After being gifted to Jaden, Eria becomes a physical representation of his bond with her former owner, Aoi. Though she's hesitant to show herself to him as a Duel Spirit, she understands how close Jaden and Aoi are, and tries her best to give him a gentle nudge in the right direction.

  Only after she learns just who and what Jaden truly is does she break from her shy shell and try to comfort him when he needs it most...

• Personality

  Eria is initially quiet shy and quiet. She greatly prefers being in nature and working on mastering her magic than being among others, or at least, others not her fellow Charmers. The mere thought of being dragged around to deal with people or monsters makes her flustered and shy, and she'll spend most of her time hiding behind one of her 'siblings' if she can't escape.

  But underneath her shyness is a fierce determination to make things right if she senses they've gone wrong, although she may not be able to overcome her shyness to do it herself. She's a bright and brilliant mind, despite her occasional mistake and backfired spell, and overall seemingly low skill, aside from her familiar-possesed form. If she sees something wrong or a soul that needs healing, her compassion kicks in and she'll do all she can to help. Likewise, if she's pushed to the brink, her anger can and will make itself known, though it tkes a great deal to cause this to happen.

  Only after she learns her new master is the Gentle Darkness does Eria make a real attempt at changing herself, coming out of her shell and trying to interact more. She makes herself known to him as a duel spirit, and a forever reminder of his bond with her former owner, Aoi. She wants nothing more than to help them both, no matter the cost, and will always come when summoned by either of them, for her loyalties lie with none other than her Charmer 'family', Aoi, and Jaden.

• Abilities

  As a water mage, her powers extend to controlling water. She can draw the liquid from various sources, including from living things and the tiniest drops of dew on the grass. If need be, she can summon water through her magic, but this is incredibly taxing on her and requires a long rest afterwards. She can also convince an opponent's water monster to switch sides and fight with her, but this too is taxing on her and is a product of her compassion for others.

  Eria can be possessed by her familiar, Gigobyte, which not only forces him to evolve into Jigabyte, but also grants her extra power. Using her magic is far less taxing on her in this form, but still draws quite a bit from her, and allows her to summon far more water than before through it.

  She has one further form in Raging Eria,only seen when her anger takes control. With Gigobyte at her side, her magic doubles in strength, taking far less out of her and coming easier and quicker. She can summon floods if she so wishes; she simply needs the proper commands from the one who summoned her, or to be given permission to go all out. Unfortunately, this form also takes the most out of her in the end, and she'll be down with a severe case of exhaustion for days after.

• Biography

  Not much is known about Eria's former life, as she refuses to talk about it. If she had a family, what she did, where she's from - None of it has been revealed, nor does she ever wish to.

  As a duel monster, Eria was given to Aoi Sakazaki by her father as part of a random collection of cards he'd picked up. As part of the Charmer archetype, she was already well aquainted with the others in her circle, and saw them as family... But it wouldn't be until Aoi took notice in her and began to bond with her that she'd have interest in an everyday human.

  Ever so slowly, Eria came to enjoy the time she spent with Aoi, and their bond grew the more Aoi summoned her. When her owner went to Duel Academy and had her deck rebuilt to feature the chrarmers at their core, Eria couldn't be more thrilled - and more interested in how her usually alone owner had made actual friends.

  To her surprise, for one such friend's birthday, Eria herself was given as a gift. The moment had been hinted at with Aoi's usual chattering, but she'd no idea she herself was the gift until her card had switched hands... And suddenly, she was in the possession of one Jaden Yuki. With no say in who owned her and her cards, Eria tried to roll with the flow, though it was difficult given how little she knew of this boy, and the fact he never summoned her. She had plenty of companions as part of his deck, but even the Elemental Heroes were confusing and overwhelming, and the small charmer tended to keep to herself.

  Despite her initial unease to get close to anyone, Eria quickly took to her new owner. She could see why her former liked him so much - but it didn't mean she was in any rush to reveal herself to him. Instead, she spent much of his second year at the academy watching over him when he wasn't paying attention, fussing and frowning like a younger sister intent on protecting her brother. There was something different about Jaden...

  Something she came to realize during his third year was because he is the Gentle Darkness, a being that draws others to him like moths to a flame. Watching him fall and rise again left the spellcaster with one fierce desire: She would protect this boy, and aid him in any way possible. He had a gentle heart and a dedication to those he loved, and she would see to it he walked his path safe and happy, and had the guidence he needed to make the right choices.

  She finally makes herself known to him after their return, and from that day on, makes sure he knows that be it through her former owner of those tied to his very soul, he'll never be alone.
